Our membership years runs from January to December. There are several categories of membership available;
Full (Retail) Member – A shop that sells bikes and/or parts and accessories, and provides service for bikes. There may be a number of shops within the group, and we encourage all shops in a group to join. There are big discounts for multiple shops.
Corporate Member – Those businesses in the bike industry, but not selling bikes to the public. Wholesalers, manufacturers and importers, training providers.
Associate Member – Any business or individual who does not fall into either of the above categories. Australian online retailers, courier companies, mobile mechanics, bike hire services and those interested in seeing a stronger industry organisation. This is also a suitable category for those who are exploring the possibility of opening a bike shop or buying an existing shop.
There is a Goods and Services Tax of 10% applying to all memberships.
A Tax Invoice will be issued.
RCTA Full and Associate membership is $300.00 plus GST for the calendar year, payable in full in the joining year. $330.00
A pro-rata adjustment will be made in your second year renewal.
RCTA Corporate Membership is $350.00 plus GST for the year. $385.00
Expect that your application will take about two to three weeks to process.
